Lagos High Court Declares 2025 Christmas Vacation, Sittings to Resume in January

The High Court of Lagos State has announced a Christmas vacation for 2025, suspending normal court sittings from December 24, 2025, to January 2, 2026. The vacation was approved by Chief Judge Justice Kazeem Olanrewaju Alogba in line with the provisions of the court rules.

Urgent matters will still be attended to during the break, with designated judges handling such cases. Regular hearings will not take place, but urgent applications related to existing or fresh matters will be addressed.

The vacation period covers December 24, 2025, to January 2, 2026, with strict compliance to the court rules.
