Lagos NIPR Launches LaPRIGA 2026 to Celebrate Innovation

The Lagos state chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has announced the 2026 Lagos Public Relations Industry Gala and Awards (LaPRIGA), set to take place on Friday, December 11, 2026, at the MUSON Centre in Onikan, Lagos. The event is designed to reaffirm a commitment to celebrating innovation, originality, excellence, and measurable influence within the communication industry.

The theme for this edition is “Redefining Innovation and Influence,” chosen in light of significant changes in public relations, advertising, digital communication, content creation, technology, and brand management. Dr. Samuel Ayetutu, chairman of the Lagos NIPR, stated that the theme reflects the need for communication professionals to adapt to evolving industry dynamics.

He emphasized that influence is increasingly derived from credibility, relevance, and engagement rather than just media budgets. Additionally, he noted that emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and data analytics are transforming communication practices.
