Lagos NMA Applauds CMD's Resilience in Rebuilding Medical Center

The Lagos State branch of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) commended Chief Medical Director Dr. Kola Afolabi for his resilience in rebuilding Ago Medical Center after a fire incident.

The NMA delegation, led by chairman Babajide Saheed, visited the facility to show support. Dr.

Afolabi was praised for his swift recovery efforts despite the challenges faced. The NMA emphasized the importance of standing by members in times of distress and pledged to provide support, both emotionally and professionally.

The association also discussed plans to enhance insurance and safety measures for doctors, particularly in private hospitals, through a Welfare Trust Fund.
