LASU Graduate Overcomes Challenges to Top Physics Class

Inoghie David Ebunoluwa, a graduate of Physics from Lagos State University (LASU), achieved remarkable academic success, graduating with a First Class degree and a grade point average of 4.86 out of 5.00. His journey included three attempts at the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exams and a half-semester studying Agriculture before committing to Physics.

David was recognized as the Best Graduating Student in the Physics Department for the 2024/2025 academic session and was the runner-up for the Best Graduating Student award across the Faculty of Science. During his time at LASU, he held several leadership positions, including Public Relations Officer and President of the Nigerian Association of Physics Students (NAPS) LASU chapter, as well as Academic Secretary and Ushering Head within the Redeemed Christian Fellowship.

His academic achievements earned him the MTN Foundation Scholar Award, which supports high-performing Nigerian students. David attributed his success to God, his family, lecturers, and peers, describing his experience as a journey of hope and academic excellence.
