Lagos to Host 2025 Best of Nollywood Awards, Governor Sanwo-Olu Confirms

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has officially accepted the hosting rights for the 2025 Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards, the 17th edition of the prestigious annual event. The announcement was made during a presentation at Lagos House, Marina, where Nollywood stars like Segun Arinze and Biola Adebayo were present.

The event highlighted the state government's commitment to supporting the creative industry, with plans to set a Guinness World Record for the longest red carpet. Governor Sanwo-Olu praised the organizers for their ambitious initiatives and emphasized the importance of government backing for the creative sector beyond financial aid.
