LASTMA Arrests Robbery Suspects, Recovers 77 Stolen Phones in Lagos Operation

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) conducted a successful operation under the Ijora Bridge hotspot, arresting robbery suspects and recovering 77 stolen phones. The suspects, including Adetunji Bashiru and Sulaiman Kada, were caught in the act of criminal activities.

Sola Giwa, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Transport, confirmed the arrests and highlighted the joint efforts to dismantle illegal activities in the area, leading to significant recoveries and the demolition of illegal structures. The operation also uncovered stolen valuables, contraband goods, and unsanitary conditions posing health risks.
