Sunday Adenipekun Named CEO of Leadership Institute

The Institute of Leadership Coaching and Strategy appointed Sunday Adenipekun as its new registrar and chief executive, effective October 5. This decision follows a rigorous hiring process approved by the governing council.

Adenipekun, an expert in governance and business membership organizations, previously served as the Director of the Academy at the Chartered Institute of Directors Nigeria, where he held acting Director-General and Chief Executive roles. His 38 years of post-qualification experience includes 24 years in not-for-profit membership organizations and 11 years at a federal government development finance institution.

The institute aims to strengthen its leadership and expand its reach under his guidance. Additionally, Ifeoma Adeniyi, the pioneer registrar and chief executive, has been elevated to Second Vice President.

The governing council also welcomed three new chairmen for standing committees: Morounfoluwa Oluwatosin Oyebola (Membership Experience Committee), Abdulwarees-Solanke Monsurat Modupe (Finance and General Purpose Committee), and Kolawole Akintunji Oyeyemi (Collaboration and Strategy Committee). Olasunkade Azeez, President and Chairman of Council, urged the appointees to contribute to the institute's growth.
