Nnewi Solution Team Seeks Justice in Local Elections

The Nnewi Solution Team, under the leadership of Chief Gabriel Chukwuma, expressed optimism about achieving justice for Nnewichi in the upcoming local government elections scheduled for August 29 in Anambra State. During a monthly meeting, the group declared its confidence in securing the position of the next chairman of Nnewi North Local Government Area, following a rotational arrangement previously affirmed by traditional ruler Igwe K.O.N.

Orizu III. Chukwuma criticized attempts to impose the current chairman, Mr. Echezona Anazodo, alleging that only a small fraction of individuals constituted a cabal.

He emphasized that the Nnewi Solution Team would not abandon its campaign until justice was achieved for Nnewichi. The group is confident that Governor Charles Soludo will consider their demands fairly.

A justice committee was formed to refine strategies ahead of the elections. The meeting also addressed concerns about the demolition of shops owned by non-indigenes, which was viewed as a negative message for Anambra State.
