Igwe Nnewi Advocates for Justice in LGA Elections

Ahead of the August 29th Anambra State Local Government election, HRH Igwe Dr. K.O.N.

Orizu III, the paramount traditional ruler of Nnewi, expressed optimism that justice would be served for the Nnewichi-Nnewi community, which is due to produce the next council chairman under a rotational arrangement. During a meeting at his palace with Chief Gabriel Chukwuma, the Convener of the Nnewi Solution Team, Igwe Orizu stated that the matter would be positively resolved before the end of the week.

Chief Chukwuma, who is also the President of Gabros Group, emphasized his commitment to advocating for Nnewichi-Nnewi, asserting that the community deserves representation. He criticized those attempting to deny Nnewichi its turn and expressed confidence in the support from Nnewi indigenes abroad.

Other stakeholders, including Hon. Augustine Ike and Major Ben Ngonadi (Rtd), participated in the meeting, reinforcing the call for justice and equity for Nnewichi-Nnewi.
