Speaking to Marca on Friday, Dembélé praised Messi's enduring qualities and his ability to remain a top performer even as he approaches the latter stages of his career.

Dembélé highlighted that Messi's impact on the game has not diminished, stating, "Lionel Messi is the best player I've ever seen." He noted Messi's dangerous qualities and warned opponents not to underestimate the eight-time Ballon d'Or winner, who captained Argentina to World Cup glory in Qatar 2022. Dembélé, who spent several years alongside Messi at FC Barcelona before their respective moves to PSG, emphasized that Messi continues to perform at an elite level and remains a key figure for both club and country, widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time.
