Dele Momodu Critiques APC's Culture of Silence

Dele Momodu, a former presidential aspirant and chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), voiced his concerns regarding the culture of silence within the All Progressives Congress (APC) during an appearance on Channels Television's "Politics Today" program on Tuesday. He noted that many APC members are dissatisfied but are reluctant to express their grievances openly.

Momodu accused President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of attempting to replicate Nigeria's political structures reminiscent of Lagos, emphasizing that the nation needs to move away from a system built on individual rule. He highlighted the growing alignment of opposition figures, which unsettles the APC, and mentioned the party's apparent panic despite efforts to rally support from governors, ministers, and lawmakers.

Furthermore, Momodu expressed his support for a potential alliance among opposition leaders, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party's Peter Obi, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
