Makinde Visits Rescued Pupils and Teachers in Ibadan

On Saturday, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde visited the rescued pupils and teachers who are currently receiving medical treatment at a military hospital in Ibadan. The victims were rescued after spending 56 days in captivity in the Oriire Local Government Area.

During his visit, Governor Makinde assessed the condition of the victims and interacted with them, expressing his delight at their safe return. He reaffirmed the administration's commitment to ensuring their full recovery and rehabilitation while they are hospitalized.

Additionally, the Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, and Senator Fatai Buhari paid separate visits to the rescued individuals, offering words of encouragement and solidarity to the victims and their families. The rescue operation involved the Nigerian Army and other security agencies, and the victims are expected to remain under medical observation before reuniting with their families.
