Seyi Makinde Launches Four-Point Reset Agenda for Nigeria

Engr. Seyi Makinde, the Oyo State Governor and presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), has introduced a four-point "Reset Agenda" for Nigeria. This agenda emphasizes four major pillars: economy, education, security, and socio-political development.

Makinde urged Nigerians to become "Resetters," stating that the agenda aims to tackle the country's significant challenges and enhance citizens' living standards. He outlined that the economic focus would involve reducing structural costs, improving infrastructure, and fostering a conducive environment for business growth.

In education, he stressed the need for consistent data on out-of-school children and emphasized that the education system must ensure children not only enroll but also learn effectively. Regarding security, Makinde highlighted the need for a strategy that allows Nigerians to live without fear, referencing Nigeria's troubling position on the Global Terrorism Index.

He expressed that the Reset Agenda is about creating better opportunities and improving the overall quality of life for Nigerians.
