Margaret Lawrence University Matriculates 262 Students

Margaret Lawrence University (MLU) held its matriculation ceremony for 262 new students for the 2025/2026 academic year across its Delta State and Abuja campuses. Vice Chancellor Professor Ernest Izevbigi urged students to focus on academic excellence, emphasizing the university's role in strengthening educational standards in Nigeria.

The event also marked the inauguration of significant development projects, including the commissioning of the Margaret Lawrence University Teaching Hospital (MLUTH) in Abuja. Professor Izevbigi noted that MLU is one of the fastest-growing universities in Nigeria, according to the National Universities Commission (NUC), and highlighted its unique facilities, such as the purchase of advanced anatomical tables.

Founder Mr. Paul Odili, who established the university on January 27, 2011, expressed satisfaction with the institution's progress.

Former Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission, Abubakar Rashe, encouraged students to maintain high moral standards and discipline throughout their academic journey.
