ADC's Legal Victory Celebrated by David Mark

Senator David Mark, the National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), commended the Court of Appeal's judgment that set aside the Federal High Court's decision to deregister the ADC. In a statement released on Monday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Kola Ologbondiyan, Mark described the ruling as a significant victory for democracy, constitutionalism, and the rule of law.

He emphasized that the appellate court's decision vindicated the ADC and reinforced public confidence in Nigeria's judiciary as a protector of democratic values. Mark characterized the attempt to deregister the ADC as an assault on Nigeria's multi-party democracy and a violation of citizens' constitutional rights.

He praised the Justices of the Court of Appeal for their courage and impartiality. Mark urged ADC members to remain united and focused on their mission of providing credible leadership ahead of the 2027 general elections, reaffirming the party's commitment to democracy and good governance.
