Mbah and Okorocha Promote Unity at Ohanaeze Headquarters

Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah and former Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha called for unity among the Igbo people during Mbah's visit to the Ohanaeze Ndigbo World Headquarters on Park Avenue, GRA, Enugu. The facility, funded by Okorocha through his foundation, is nearing completion and is set for formal handover in October.

Mbah praised the project as a significant achievement for Ndigbo, highlighting its features, including twin auditoriums, offices, conference rooms, and an audio-visual library. Okorocha expressed that the initiative aims to provide a strong institution for Ndigbo, stating it is not a display of wealth but a gesture of love.

He noted that the secretariat would serve as a global support system for Igbo citizens in distress, regardless of their location. Okorocha clarified that the project was best pursued outside of his political tenure, emphasizing Ohanaeze's cultural rather than political nature.
