Michael Emenalo has officially stepped down from his position as Chief Football Executive of the Saudi Pro League, a role he held for two years. The Saudi Pro League confirmed this decision on Tuesday, expressing gratitude for Emenalo's contributions to the league's development.

During his tenure, Emenalo led the league's player acquisition center and was instrumental in establishing operational standards necessary for the league's long-term growth. He described the league's rapid transformation as ambitious and noted significant progress made during his time.

Emenalo emphasized the importance of the foundational work done to sustain the league's continued growth and expressed appreciation for the support he received from the league's staff. His decision to leave is influenced by a desire to be closer to his family in Europe, particularly his son, Landon Emenalo, who currently plays at Chelsea Academy.
