James Milner Ties Premier League Appearance Record

On Wednesday night, James Milner achieved a significant milestone by making his 653rd Premier League appearance during Brighton & Hove Albion's 1-0 defeat against Aston Villa at Villa Park. This appearance ties him with Gareth Barry for the most appearances in Premier League history.

Milner, now 40 years old, came off the bench in the first half to replace Carlo Baleba. Brighton's head coach, Fabian Hürzeler, praised Milner's professionalism and influence on the team, highlighting his special qualities.
