Miss World Nigeria 2026 Wins Africa Top Model Title

Tamunosoye “Soye” Karibi-George, representing Nigeria as Miss World Nigeria 2026, won the Top Model title for Africa during the Miss World competition held in Vietnam on August 27, 2026. The event, part of the Vietnam Beauty Fashion Fest XVII and themed “Soul of Heritage,” featured contestants from various African nations, including Equatorial Guinea, Botswana, Kenya, and South Africa.

Karibi-George's victory not only earned her the continental title but also secured her an automatic place in the Top 40 quarterfinals of the Miss World 2026 competition. She joins other continental Top Model winners from the Dominican Republic, France, and Vietnam, who represent the Americas and Caribbean, Europe, and Asia and Oceania, respectively.

The overall Top Model title will be contested among these winners, with the victor gaining a direct spot in the Top 20 of Miss World 2026. Additional places in the Top 40 will be determined through various challenges, including People’s Choice and Beauty With a Purpose.
