FG Supports Miss Nigeria for 75th Miss World Pageant

The Federal Government of Nigeria has committed to providing full institutional support for Miss Nigeria, Queen Tamunosoye Karibi-George, as she prepares to represent the country at the 75th Miss World Beauty Pageant in Vietnam. The announcement was made by the Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, during a formal presentation in Abuja.

The minister highlighted that the pageant serves as a platform for showcasing Nigeria’s culture, talent, and the leadership potential of its women. She emphasized that Nigeria's participation is about more than competing for the crown; it is also about promoting a positive national image and cultural heritage.

Plans for a high-level reception to honor Miss Nigeria on August 5 at the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja were announced, where government officials and stakeholders will celebrate her. The minister assured comprehensive support for Miss Nigeria's preparation and welfare throughout the competition, urging Nigerians to rally behind her.
