Nigerian-British businessman dies after surgery in Thailand

Igho Ubiribo, a 43-year-old Nigerian-British businessman and social media influencer, died after undergoing a penis enlargement procedure while on holiday in Thailand. A UK coroner determined that the cosmetic procedure led to a fatal pulmonary embolism.

This incident highlights the potential risks associated with cosmetic surgeries. In a separate but unrelated matter, the head of the Igala Community in Lagos, Muhammed Salifu, has been accused by the family of a teenager of defiling their daughter and allegedly causing damage to her womb.

The family stated that the incident began in December 2023 and has significantly impacted the teenager's life. Salifu, aged 58, claimed he intended to marry the girl, which has added complexity to the situation.
