MURIC Condemns Attacks on Oluwo of Iwo as Islamophobic

The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has condemned attacks on Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Rasheed Akanbi, labeling the perpetrators as Islamophobic. MURIC rejected allegations of drug use against the monarch, commending his recent legal victory.

The group criticized those spreading false accusations and emphasized Oluwo's bold stance in expressing his faith. MURIC warned against cyberbullying and infringement on Oluwo's human rights, citing legal provisions.
