Mutfwang Congratulates Ibrahim Pam on World Bank Appointment

Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang of Plateau State congratulated Mr. Ibrahim James Pam on his recent appointment as the Acting Director-General of the World Bank Group’s Compliance Advisor Ombudsman (CAO).

Mutfwang described this achievement as a significant honor for Plateau State, Nigeria, and the African continent. He emphasized that Pam's appointment reflects global recognition of his professional competence and commitment to justice and accountability.

The Governor noted Pam's extensive career, which includes roles at the United Nations, African Development Bank, International Criminal Court, and Nigeria’s Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission. Mutfwang expressed pride in Pam's rise to a prominent position within a leading international financial institution and urged him to continue serving with diligence and integrity.

He also prayed for Pam's wisdom and health as he undertakes his new responsibilities. The CAO is crucial for ensuring accountability in projects financed by the International Finance Corporation and Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency.
