Tinubu Promises Nationwide Infrastructure Development

President Bola Tinubu stated his administration's commitment to replicating the infrastructure development achievements of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) nationwide. This announcement was made during the inauguration of the newly constructed Transitway, which links the Central Business District and Wuse District in Abuja.

The project includes two bridges and is part of a broader initiative to ensure equitable development across Nigeria. Tinubu emphasized that the Transitway symbolizes progress and reflects his administration's agenda to build infrastructure that serves the people and unlocks economic potential.

He commended FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for his efforts in transforming the FCT and noted that the project aims to alleviate traffic congestion and improve urban mobility for millions of commuters. The Transitway is designed to accommodate both vehicular and rail transport, forming part of a larger mass transit system outlined in the Abuja master plan.
