Blessing CEO Granted N20m Bail in Fraud Case

On Thursday, the Lagos State Special Offences Court granted Nigerian self-acclaimed relationship expert Blessing CEO bail set at N20 million, increasing from an initial N10 million. This decision follows her six-week remand in Kirikiri prison.

The bail is part of her trial concerning a N69.15 million property fraud case, where she is accused of fraudulently obtaining the amount from Hope Chiropractic Health Clinic Limited under the pretext of securing a lease for a property in Lekki, Lagos, in March 2025. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had arraigned her on June 9, 2026, on two counts of obtaining money by false pretences and stealing, to which she pleaded not guilty.

Justice Rahman Oshodi stipulated that she must provide two sureties, each with a three-year proof of deposits valued at N20 million. The court has adjourned the case until October 12, 2026, for the continuation of the trial.
