NANS Launches Nationwide Scholarship and Mentorship Program

The Nigerian Students' Association (NANS) has unveiled a nationwide scholarship and mentorship program designed to expand educational access and provide mentorship and internship opportunities for Nigerian students. The announcement was made in Lokoja, with Comrade Babatunde Akintey, NANS President, describing the initiative as a strategic intervention to bridge the gap in access to quality education and global opportunities for students.

The program aims not only to provide financial support but also to create sustainable pathways for academic and professional growth. Comrade Abraham Temitayo Adewoy, Director of the International Project Partnership, emphasized that the initiative will leverage partnerships across the United Kingdom, United States, and Europe to connect Nigerian students with a global academic network.

The program will ensure equitable access for students across Nigeria, with a commitment to sponsor a minimum of 20-30 students annually. The initiative aligns with existing funding frameworks and aims to impact 50 million Nigerian students in tertiary institutions nationwide.
