Lekan Fatodu Joins Africa Aquatics Zone 2 Board

Hon. Lekan Fatodu, the President of the Nigeria Aquatics Federation (NAqF), has been elected to the Africa Aquatics Zone 2 Board, which includes 22 countries from West and Central Africa. Fatodu views this election as a significant opportunity to enhance Nigeria's representation and influence in aquatic sports.

He expressed his commitment to using this new role to foster stronger collaborations, improve technical development, and create greater opportunities for Nigerian swimmers. Fatodu stated, “This is a call to greater responsibility and an opportunity to contribute more to the development of aquatics across Africa, while also using the platform to advance the growth of swimming in Nigeria.” He emphasized the importance of strengthening partnerships and enhancing development programs to ensure that athletes can compete and excel at the highest levels.
