DSS Arrests Three Kidnappers, Rescues Victim in Nasarawa

The Department of State Services (DSS) arrested three suspected kidnappers in Nasarawa State, successfully rescuing a victim. One suspect was apprehended at the criminals’ hideout located in Atabula, Duduguru community, within the Jenkwe Development Area.

The other two suspects were tracked down and arrested at a hotel in Lafia, the state capital. During the operation, security operatives destroyed the makeshift camp used by the criminals and recovered cash, five mobile phones, and other items.

Governor Abdullahi Sule commended the DSS for their vigilance and commitment to combating crime in the state. In a statement issued on Thursday by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Addra, Governor Sule described the arrests as a demonstration of the effectiveness and dedication of the security agencies.

He urged them to maintain their momentum in the fight against criminal elements and assured them of his administration's continued support. The Governor also called on citizens to remain vigilant and provide timely information to security agencies, emphasizing the importance of collective vigilance for maintaining peace.
