Ujiri's Zaria Group Partners with Kenya Railways for Arena

On a notable date, Masai Ujiri's Zaria Group and the Kenya Railways Corporation formalized a landmark agreement to establish a long-term lease for the development of a modern indoor arena adjacent to a mixed-use entertainment district in Nairobi. This agreement was executed in the presence of Dr.

William Samoei Ruto, the President of the Republic of Kenya. The framework aims to transform the area into a central hub for sports, entertainment, culture, and commerce across East Africa.

The project is expected to create approximately 25,000 job opportunities annually during its construction and operational phases, contributing significantly to the broader creative economy. This initiative aligns with Kenya's national infrastructure priorities and the Nairobi Railway City master plan, aiming to enhance connectivity and mobilize economic productivity.

The arena will serve as an anchor for urban development and is designed to host international sports, concerts, and cultural programs, reflecting a strategic shift towards leveraging sports and entertainment as foundational elements of economic infrastructure.
