NCS to Tackle Digital Inclusivity at July Conference

The Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), the umbrella body for information technology practitioners in Nigeria, is set to address national concerns regarding digital inclusivity at an upcoming international conference scheduled to be held in Plateau State in July. During a press conference in Lagos, NCS President Prof.

Muhammad Sirajo Aliyu announced that the conference will focus on the theme of digital innovation and the role of emerging technologies in fostering inclusive economic growth. Aliyu stated that the NCS will ensure that discussions at the conference will address the growing concerns surrounding digital inclusivity, aiming to ensure that Nigerians, regardless of their location, have access to digital connectivity.

He noted that for four decades, the Nigeria Computer Society has been at the forefront of promoting excellence in information technology practices and advocating for policies that enhance the digital capacity of the nation in light of technological advancements.
