NDA Refutes Claims of Admission Process Exclusions

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has issued a statement dismissing allegations that candidates would be excluded from the admission process for the 78 regular course due to the closure of its application portal. Maj Reuben Kovangiya, the academy's spokesman, clarified that the application portal will remain open from November 28, 2025, until April 30, 2026, with a deadline extension to May 15, 2026.

Candidates who score 180 and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination are invited to participate in the admission process. Eligible candidates will receive emails by May 19, 2026, directing them to register for the NDA screening test, which must be completed by May 24, 2026.

The NDA emphasized that it maintains a transparent, merit-based, and equitable admission process, providing equal opportunities for all eligible applicants. Kovangiya urged the public to rely on official communication channels for updates and to monitor the admission process closely.
