NDLEA Arrests 75-Year-Old Grandpa, Seizes 178,000kg Skunk in Anambra and Taraba

The NDLEA arrested 75-year-old Uchelue Ikechukwu and five others in Anambra for illicit substances. They seized opioids and destroyed 178,000kg of skunk in Taraba.

The suspects, including Eneh Makuo and Chukwuma, were apprehended with varying quantities of drugs. Alfa Andrew was also taken into custody for cannabis farming.

The operation involved the Nigerian Army and local vigilante groups. The agency reported intercepting tramadol capsules and a fuel tanker suspected of aiding insurgents.

This significant bust highlights the agency's efforts to combat drug trafficking across Nigeria.
