NDLEA Operative Stabbed to Death in Bauchi State

An operative of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) was stabbed to death by an unidentified person in Bauchi State on Tuesday while conducting official duties with other personnel at Anguwan Zango, Tilden Fulani, in Toro Local Government Area. The incident occurred around 11 am when NDLEA officials were attempting to arrest a youth involved in drug-related activities.

A local resident reported that as the NDLEA operatives tried to take the arrested individual into their vehicle, other youths resisted, leading to the stabbing of the NDLEA operative in the stomach. Following the attack, the youths fled the scene, leaving the injured operative behind.

An official from the NDLEA at the command headquarters in Bauchi confirmed the incident but did not provide further details. The NDLEA has declared the suspect wanted, but their identity and address remain unknown.
