NECA to Host 2026 Employers’ Excellence Awards in Lagos

The Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA) has announced plans to honor outstanding employers and organizations at the 5th Edition of the NECA Employers’ Excellence Awards, scheduled for November 2026 in Lagos. The awards, themed “Celebrating Excellence in Enterprise, Leadership and Responsible Employment,” aim to recognize organizations that excel in enterprise performance, workplace excellence, leadership, innovation, employee development, good governance, and responsible employment practices.

Mr. Adewale-Smatt Oyerinde, the Director-General of NECA, stated that the initiative showcases organizations setting high standards and contributing to Nigeria’s economic development. The awards are open to all employers across sectors, regardless of size or operational context, allowing them to showcase their achievements.

Participation is free, and the ceremony will attract business leaders, CEOs, HR professionals, policymakers, and other stakeholders, providing networking and partnership opportunities. NECA invites employers to submit nominations for various award categories.
