Türkiye Passport Entry Arrangements

Spain allows citizens of EU member states and four non-EU countries to enter using only a national ID card. Family members of these citizens are also included. Citizens from African nations must present a valid passport and visa for entry.

Citizens of eight countries, including Germany and France, can now enter Türkiye with expired passports, according to a new policy by the Turkish government. This arrangement provides flexibility for travelers whose passports have lapsed.

Türkiye has announced that citizens from 21 countries can enter its territory using only their national identity cards, eliminating the need for passports. This policy simplifies travel for these nations, which include several EU member states and non-EU countries.
