Ned Nwoko Rejects Fresh Paris Club Refund Allegations

Senator Ned Nwoko has publicly dismissed recent allegations concerning fresh claims related to outstanding consultancy fees linked to the Paris Club refunds. In a statement issued by his media team in Abuja on Friday, Nwoko described the reports as false, misleading, and a distortion of established facts.

He noted that the matter had already been thoroughly examined by multiple investigations conducted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), which reached consistent conclusions. According to Nwoko's statement, four separate reviews by the EFCC confirmed that contractual work was duly executed and that any outstanding balance remains subject to existing agreements.

He referenced supporting documents from the Federal Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank of Nigeria regarding payment audits. Furthermore, Nwoko rejected allegations of improper collaboration with the Attorney General of the Federation, Lateef Fagbemi, calling them baseless and malicious.

He indicated that legal steps would be taken against individuals spreading defamatory information and reaffirmed his commitment to due process and transparency.
