Nedu Wazobia in N83m Collapsed Contract Controversy as Court Takes Strong Action

Nigerian comedian Nedu Wazobia recently won a legal battle in a contract dispute worth N83 million with Metropolitan School of Business Management and Victor Tolulope. The partnership was aimed at helping underprivileged students pay school fees through a fundraising gala in March 2024.

However, the project collapsed when Tolulope demanded a refund of N60 million, leading to a breakdown in the partnership. The police were involved, but a court ruling ordered them to keep off until the substantive case is determined.

Nedu's team claimed harassment and assault by the police, who had already investigated the matter and concluded it was a civil issue. The ongoing legal battle has been a significant distraction for Nedu, known for his witty voice in radio skits and banter.
