Netherlands Opens Working Holiday Permit for 9 Countries

The Netherlands has introduced a Working Holiday Permit (WHP) program aimed at young individuals aged 18 to 30 from select countries, facilitating cultural exchange and the opportunity to live in the Netherlands. The Dutch government has outlined that only citizens from nine specific countries are eligible to apply for this residence permit.

The eligible countries are Argentina, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Taiwan, Uruguay, and South Korea. The official statement from the Dutch government indicates that no African nations are included in this list, which means citizens from countries such as Ghana, Kenya, and South Africa do not qualify under the current terms of the program.
