New Study Shows Inhaler Cuts Asthma Attacks in Children by 45%

A new study revealed that a single inhaler containing two drugs can reduce asthma attacks in children by 45%. The CARE Children REliever trial compared the effectiveness of this inhaler with the traditional salbutamol inhaler, showing promising results in asthma management.

The inhaler combines an inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) with a bronchodilator, significantly lowering the risk of asthma attacks in children aged five to fifteen. Asthma affects around 113 million young people globally, making this new treatment option potentially life-saving for many children suffering from the condition.
