Newswatch Co-Founder Yakubu Mohammed Laid to Rest in Kogi State

Yakubu Mohammed, co-founder of the defunct Newswatch magazine, was buried in Kogi State with religious leaders stressing the need for spiritual preparedness. Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, mourned Mohammed's passing, recognizing his pioneering work in investigative journalism and public service roles, including as Pro-Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University. Mohammed's legacy as a courageous and influential journalist was highlighted during the burial ceremony.
