DevMe and Minister Train 100 Ondo Students in Leadership
DevMe, a non-governmental organization, has partnered with Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the Minister of Interior, to train 100 students in Ondo on leadership, technology, and personal development. Temiloluwa Asagunla, the Founder and Executive Director of DevMe, announced this initiative during the second edition of the FutureProofed 2.0 bootcamp in Akure.
The program targets young individuals aged 13 to 19, focusing on self-mastery, leadership, emerging careers, and digital literacy. Participants will engage in practical projects and problem-solving exercises.
Dr Ayo Ologun, speaking on behalf of the minister, highlighted that the program aims to create opportunities for young Nigerians to develop their talents. He noted that the success of the first edition inspired the minister to increase support for the second edition, which includes a cash prize of N2 million for the top two winners, up from N1 million in the previous year.
Additionally, security arrangements will be provided for the event.
