NHRC Chair Commends Kebbi for Education and Infrastructure

Hajiya Salamatu Hussaini, the chairperson of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), commended Kebbi State Governor Comrade Nasir Idris for the state's advancements in infrastructure, education, and agriculture. During a courtesy visit to Abuja, she reflected on her recent visit to Kebbi, where she was impressed by the quality of projects executed by the state government.

She noted the establishment of an ultra-modern state secretariat and the transformation of Birnin Kebbi. Hussaini highlighted the collaboration with the Alkali Hussaini Foundation to enhance teacher capacity and improve educational quality.

She also praised the government's distribution of free agricultural inputs to farmers, which positively impacted the socio-economic conditions of residents. Furthermore, she discussed ongoing plans with Governor Idris to establish a manpower development institute focused on economic-related fields.

Hussaini expressed optimism about the continued benefits of Idris's administration for the people of Kebbi State.
