Akpabio Honors Nigeria's Heroes on Independence Day

On Nigeria's 66th Independence Anniversary, Senator Godswill Akpabio, the President of the Senate and Chairman of the National Assembly, paid tribute to the country's founding fathers and fallen heroes. In a goodwill message issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Eseme Eyiboh, Akpabio emphasized the courage, labor, and sacrifices that contributed to Nigeria's independence.

He called on Nigerians to uphold values of love, unity, and patriotism, reflecting on the significance of the national flag and the hopes it symbolizes. Akpabio also honored members of the Armed Forces and security agencies who lost their lives in service, stating their sacrifices are integral to Nigeria's freedom and unity.
