Nigeria Customs Intercepts Rifles, Ammunitions, Drugs At Lagos Port

The Nigeria Customs recently intercepted a significant amount of contraband at the Lagos Port, including two rifles, 25 cartridge ammunitions, and 202 cans of Colorado Loud Canadian strain cannabis. Comptroller General Adewale Adeniyi revealed these findings to journalists, stating that the illegal items were concealed inside a container with the number MRSU6407089.

The container was initially cleared as clean but was later discovered to hold the illicit cargo during a secondary search conducted by joint security agencies. Adeniyi mentioned that the Colorado Loud cannabis weighed 500 grams, totaling 101 kilograms, equivalent to two bags of cement.

The container was consigned to Babatunde Ogidiolu in Lagos.
