Atiku Abubakar Mourns Dotun Oladipo's Passing

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the former Vice President of Nigeria and presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Dotun Oladipo, the publisher of EagleOnline. In a post shared on X, Atiku characterized Oladipo as “not just an extraordinary journalist; he was an extraordinary human being.” He praised Oladipo's qualities, describing him as gracious, thoughtful, decent, and humble.

Atiku emphasized Oladipo's dedication to journalism, truth, professionalism, and public service. He noted that the journalism community in Nigeria, particularly the Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP), has lost a distinguished professional.

Atiku reflected on Oladipo's warm and generous spirit, stating that friends and colleagues have lost a dependable companion, and many whose lives he touched have lost a truly good man. He prayed for the repose of Oladipo’s soul, wishing that his memory remains a blessing and that God grants strength to his family, colleagues, and friends during this painful time.
