Baba-Ahmed Critiques Tinubu's Economic Policies in Nigeria

Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, the chairman of the People's Redemption Party (PRP), criticized President Bola Tinubu's administration during an appearance on Channels Television's Politics Today.

He accused the government of implementing significant policies without proper planning, particularly the removal of fuel subsidies. Baba-Ahmed argued that the federal government did not conduct a proper assessment before embarking on key economic reforms, which he believes are essential for addressing Nigeria's critical challenges.

He emphasized that no government should undertake policies of such magnitude without a SWOT analysis. Baba-Ahmed expressed disappointment in President Tinubu's performance, stating that despite the government's increased revenue, poverty levels, insecurity, and corruption are rising.

He concluded that the Tinubu administration has failed to meet public expectations and called for a change in government through the ballot box.
