Adebayo Criticizes Tinubu, Positions SDP as Poverty Solution

Prince Adewole Adebayo, the presidential standard bearer for the Social Democratic Party (SDP), stated that poverty is not Nigeria's destiny but a consequence of failed leadership and poor policies. He emphasized that despite three years of economic reforms under President Bola Tinubu's administration, millions of Nigerians continue to face hardship and reduced purchasing power.

Adebayo argued that the central challenge confronting Nigeria is not a lack of natural wealth but the inability of the government to convert economic growth into broad-based opportunities for citizens. He presented the SDP as a practical alternative focused on poverty reduction, job creation, and improved security.

Adebayo called for political participation and urged Nigerians to embrace democratic change, asserting that the ongoing economic reforms must directly benefit the populace. He concluded by encouraging citizens to join the SDP to help eradicate poverty in Nigeria.
