Binani Air Receives NCAA Approval to Launch Flights

Binani Air has secured approval from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to begin scheduled flight services, a significant development in the aviation sector. The approval was announced during a ceremony in Abuja, where Capt. Chris Najomo, the Director General of NCAA, described this achievement as a major milestone, highlighting the significance of a female-led airline breaking traditional male dominance in the industry.

He commended the resilience of the airline's founder, Aishatu Binani Dahiru, and her team for successfully navigating the rigorous certification process. However, he cautioned that the approval marks the beginning of operations and stressed the need for strict adherence to safety standards and professional planning, indicating that there is no room for compromise in aviation responsibilities.

Aishatu Binani Dahiru expressed her appreciation for the NCAA's guidance throughout the process and acknowledged the support from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo, noting their roles in fostering an enabling environment for the airline's emergence.
