Nigeria Seeks Stronger Trade Ties with Saudi Arabia

On Tuesday, at the Nigeria–Saudi Diaspora Investment and Tourism Exhibition Summit 2026 in Abuja, the Honourable Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, declared that Nigeria is prepared to deepen investment, trade, and tourism partnerships with Saudi Arabia. He stated that the Federal Government is implementing significant reforms aimed at creating a competitive, investor-friendly economy as part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda.

Idris invited investors to leverage Nigeria's potential, highlighting the summit as a crucial platform for fostering partnerships that will expand trade and stimulate investment. He noted that the ongoing reforms are designed to enhance Nigeria's attractiveness for regional and global investments.

Additionally, he acknowledged the role of Nigerians in the diaspora in strengthening bilateral relations and attracting investments. Hon.
