Nigeria Repatriates Turkish Fraud Convict After Global Manhunt

Nigeria successfully repatriated a 61-year-old Turkish national, Acar Huseyin, who was convicted of fraud in Turkey and fled the country to evade a 14-year, 8-month, and 10-day prison sentence. The Interpol National Central Bureau in Abuja collaborated with international partners to locate and arrest Huseyin in Nigeria after he traveled from the Middle East.

The Nigerian Police Force's commitment to global law enforcement cooperation was commended by the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun.
